Valerie Labi is a serial impact entrepreneur dedicated to leveraging social enterprises to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She is currently at the forefront of creating an ecosystem for e-mobility solutions in Africa, as Co-Founder of Wahu Mobility, tackling Ghana’s transportation challenges by manufacturing electric bikes, offering a cheaper, more convenient and safer alternative.
Valerie Labi holds a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge. Her career has spanned a variety of industries including global financial services, telecommunications, and water and sanitation. Her experience includes founding start-ups as well as strategic leadership in large multinationals such as Vodafone and EY. During the pandemic, she took up the role of Country Manager for BIMA Ghana, establishing a growth strategy scaling up the countries 1st licensed telemedicine services provider to the capacity of 30,000 consultations a week.
